Manuscript Review and Social Media Coordination - Solum Literary Press
At Solum Literary Press, I help the editorial team review manuscript submissions for publication, including poetry chapbooks/collections, novels, novellas, and homilies. Additionally, I design and coordinate social media posts and engagement across Instagram, X, and Facebook.
Editor - LAMP Literary Magazine
As part of the editorial team, I oversaw 3 successful publications of the literary magazine LAMP. I evaluated 100+ literary submissions in poetry, fiction, nonfiction, art, and photography to assess quality, creativity, and relevance to the magazine’s purpose. I also provided editing support to chosen writers, which included developmental editing and copyediting.
Editor-in-Chief and Copyeditor -Liberty Champion
Across my 4 years at Liberty Champion, I directed a staff of 12 across multiple departments—including feature, opinion, news, sports, digital media, social media, photography, and web. I also ensured all content adhered to publishing and copyediting standards and AP style, working with editors and writers to improve their content and maintain grammatical and formatting consistency.
